Tsui: Yo! Tag-team blogging with Kanzie for Bakemonogatari .

Kanz: Ohohoho~!!! Yep ^^. I’ll be joining my slave on blogging the first episode of Bakemonogatari because I just found it to be totally awesome and not to be missed on! I don’t know if I’ll continue tag-team blogging with him though, because it’s so hard to get in contact with each other because we’re on different colleges. But so far, you’ll enjoy my fangirling commentary in here~.

Tsui: Episode one of Bakemonogatari will be a tag-team blogging project for us here. Well, I’m originally assigned to take over this series though, but Kanzie contacted me and she said she wants to say her thoughts as well, and we ended up on Messenger.

Kanz: Yup, we’re keeping the post in the format I started. Event-by-event, ramble-by-ramble. Topics are in bold ^^. You can find the screenshot gallery on the next page for loads of more screenshots because I just hate it cluttering the first page ^^.

Tsui: Let’s get it started. Btw people, you can check out my First Look post about this if you still haven’t. (Just a shameless plugging).

Starting Sequence

Kanz: It’s probably not the real and official OP for the series I think… But I’ll say that this is PURE AWESOMENESS!!! This sequence is just so wrong in many levels, which makes it awesome! The gory parts are just win. Oh god and love the suspenseful music!!! Araragi’s peek is freaky XD. Meme is so cool!!! The blond girl looks kick-ass as well. The action is there and I love it. I can’t also wait for the real one too.

Tsui: I see pink! Besides from the exposure of Tsubasa’s eye candies, I must agree that it’s indeed awesome. Wow, just by the first moments of the show I’m already getting hyped up for it. I don’t know if this sequence has something to do with the current story though, but it sure shows Shinobu being a vampire before. Really good stuff, I hope the real OP will be as awesome or more awesome than this.

Fallen Angel?

Tsui: Bakemonogatari starts off with Araragi catching a falling girl on the school stairs. The fallen girl is Senjougahara Hitagi, and Araragi noticed that he didn’t felt much weight from her upon catching her.

Kanz: Haha that’s so cliche’d, but the visuals had me forgiving it ^^. OMG just from the start, I feel like SHAFT’s spending a lot of budget in this. Just how the stairs scenery got animated, it’s already breathtakingly awesome. Btw, super important thing to mention: Araragi is voiced by KAMIYAN!!!!

Tsubasa and lots of talking.

Kanz: OH MY GOD finally Yui Horie is not annoying in here. I’m totally loving Yui Horie’s role as Tsubasa after that tra”UU”matizing experience I had on Umineko. But anyway, this is surely “blahblahblahblah” though.

Tsui: I’m liking Yui Horie’s role in here. Tsubasa is a fairly interesting character, and I cannot wait for her arc to come. But I guess the dialogue heavy scenes just starts now. I don’t mind though, since NisiOisin is known for being a genius when it comes to words and long talks. So except blabberings, but when something needs to be in action, he does it really bloody awesome.

Kids, do NOT try this at home school.

Tsui: Uh, well that’s a really cool way to introduce what the main heroine is like. Nobody would wanna mess with with her because she’s armed and ready to kill… with school supplies.

Kanz: Bwahahaha~!!! She’s bloody awesome already! I love her now!!! Haha… Assaulting with sharp school supplies ftw!

My Love is a Stapler. (K-On! pun intended)

Tsui: Hitagi is… insane.

Kanz: Am I the only one who found this scene sexy?

Tsui: That’s because you’re a sadist.

Kanz: It’s hot~.

Tsui: YOU. ARE. A. SADIST!!! …*runs away*

Ouch.

Tsui: OW. That had to hurt. Anyway, this arc is named “Hitagi Crab”, and I won’t discuss further the other names of the rest kukuku… Anyway, Senjougahara is weightless, and the reason why is because it all started when she encountered a certain crab.

TEH Pain.

Kanz: Ouchiez for Araragi’s situation!!! But that’s so awesome of him to have the wound in his mouth immediately cured! A cool vampire indeed still lives inside him ^^.

School Supplies R Dangerous

Kanz: Woah~ Senjougahara is one FIERCE! bitch!!! Plus where she got all those school supplies?! Girl’s a walking stationery store.

Where the hell does she hide ‘em?

Tsui: Senjounovalkyria err… I mean Senjougahara.. FFFF… I’ll just call her Hitagi instead. Her name’s hard as hell. She seems to have an awesome pocket that goes deep beyond space. And awesome Unlimited Stationery Works is awesome.

The Two.

Kanz: I think I’m gonna love these two~ ^^. *shipping them* Araragi is soooo adorable! And he’s totally willing to help Senjougahara even after stapling his mouth!!! Kyaaa~<3!!! Plus I really love fierce heroines like her, that shows that they have problems as well. On Araragi, he’s pretty cool! He’s an ex-vampire that still has some immortality affects in him! So awesome!!! Probably there are still some vampire skills left inside him too~.

Tsui: I think the two leads are dry in terms of personality, judging by the first episode. I haven’t seen anything from Araragi yet besides from the fact that he’s an ex-vampire. Hitagi also got me a little off on her after saying she’s a tsundere. We need more proof on that. Plus I almost thought that she’s almost a very kick-ass character until she wailed out and asking for help. -__-… I don’t get her, so I guess it can be a good thing that she’s mysterious.

Filmstrip style

Kanz: This part is ridiculous. Probably the episode went downhill in here visually in my opinion. The first half was totally stunning though. But the old film style- not working for me.

Tsui: I also found this to be the least visually entertaining part too. But still gotta give props to SHAFT for always experimenting with stuff and they add twists to talking scenes to make them less boring.

PASTAAAA~!!!

Kanz: Roflmao!!! XD This part is ridiculously disgustingly awesome XD. Erghh….. But totally awesome xD. What the hell are the foods used in here?! O___O I see pasta, sago, cake, a vegetable, some pork/ham/whatever. Lol. Aragaki literally has a mixed buffet in his head there~.

Tsui: This is quite hilarious as well, and I don’t know if they are really trying to “experiment” or they just basically ran out of ideas. Also, talking about the overall “artistic attempts” they had, I had gotten a SZS feel to this series now. I have gotten more excited to see more of this.

Aloha~

Tsui: Going back to the plot, Araragi suggested to Hitagi that he’ll take her to a guy named Oshino Meme, who cured him back then as well when she’s still a vampire before. Meme turns out to be a homeless man, and he’s living with a quiet girl named Shinobu.

Kanz: Meme seems to be like a pretty cool character~. I love his tropical-styled polo lol. And Shinobu is so cute! I’m guessing that she’s the vampire in the starting sequence. We get to see more of their backstory ^^.

The Memelancholy of Meme

Tsui: I have a joke.

Kanz: I don’t wanna hear it, no thanks.

Tsui: What is the…

Kanz: The Memelancholy of blahblah… Yah, yah, whatever. Pssh. Go rot in lameness, Tsui.

Tsui: I fail. So back to some seriousness, Oshino hints about the reason for Hitagi’s weight problems, and he is willing to help her. Of course, all help aren’t free, will there be any costs? End of episode.

Closing Sequence: “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari” by supercell

Kanz: The ED sequence is… a picture. Have nothing to say about the song too. Probably it’ll get better when it’s added by an actual animation next week as its OP.

Tsui: Yeah. Picture. But lol, the song seems to be the actual song for the OP, so I can’t wait for episode 2 to see it.

First Impressions:

Tsui:

That was a really impressive start, visually. Since it’s SHAFT, we’re in for a treat on a artistic mess, whether it’ll be good or bad for you. I, being a SHAFT fanboy, will definitely look forward to more of this. I’m really after the story as well. Because we all know NisiOisin being so awesome, and teaming up with Shinbo’s eccentric style of direction. The adaptation for Bakemonogatari will be definitely interesting and I would really want to see how it would turn out.

The artistic style is as expected, SHAFT-y. I remembered SZS in it (which will also be airing later btw). This has tons of potential so far, and I hope it would not disappoint and keep it still as impressive as it goes.

Kanz:

First of all, SHAFT did a really stunning job on the visuals. The style is nothing I can’t think more of. I really love how they experiment on a lot of scenes, and at least even if it has a lot of talk, the visuals are still impressive. That’s probably their strongest point in my opinion. I have some itches on some parts though in the animation, but I think it’s because they try to focus more on the backgrounds. I can’t say anything else more on the backgrounds because since ef, I had been a fan on how SHAFT does sceneries.

OMG I’m totally looking forward to this! Maria+Holic left me wanting more, and Natsu no Arashi is just bland, so I hope this one would be great. It looks dark but heck, MOST AWESOME first impression I had amongst all Summer shows I’ve watched this far.

act05 – CHIE & SHIMEI

Of course~.

Awesome episode as usual. I really hate the fact that I don’t know any other way to start off this post other than saying “Awesome episode as usual.” but it’s unavoidable because Eve no Jikan just pulls it off and stuns me each and every episode.Also, just as always, I always don’t feel the long wait because it’s totally worth it.

So we are at fifth episode, and probably the second to the last one of the first season(?). I heard that it’s getting a theatrical production though, but I would have wished for this to become a series/ONA series instead.

The fifth episode is Chie & Shimei, Chie, wich is the cafe’s resident loli, while Shimei is her guardian. I wouldn’t exactly call this episode as a Chie & Shimei-focused one, which made this episode amazing, because not only we get know the resident loli in here, but there are lots of very interesting character developments. The people/robots at the cafe seems to be a huge family, just as it shows on how they treat Chie.

Rikuo you idiot!!! T^T Poor Sammy T^T… But that’s a really sad fact on how humans in their world treat the androids. Rikuo’s just scared that other people might think of him as a loser for being with an android. But Sammy’s face is just blank, and robots don’t have emotions anyway… But her face in the rain is just sad T_T.

Anyway, Sammy is just so darn awesome! She can learn the piano ^^. And that is quite thought provoking as well, which Eve no Jikan just succeeds on being at. Robots has the potential to take part in cultural development, for example, on music.

Moving on, my favorite scene is when Rikuo takes the spotlight and plays the piano after his servant, Sammy. The animation is just brilliant. One of my favorite scenes so far this year to be really honest. Rikuo’s just so cool!!!

OH MY EFFING COW. Is Sammy really still a robot?! xD Rofl. When she did the smiling, I was…. O_____O. Not only great development for Rikuo in this episode but for Sammy as well, for being so ridiculously mysterious with her actions ^^.

Wha–?! Masaki… has a robot in his house? I thought he said he doesn’t have one. Hmm, I can’t wait for the next episode (entitled by his own name) to see more of the background of Rikuo’s background story after his actions on act04. He seems to be a really unstable character in terms of his actions that’s what makes him totally interesting ^^.

So next episode is gonna be the final one??? I cannot wait for September then. Following act06 is Eve no Jikan’s theatrical release. I wonder what that is going to be though, I hope they would not patch up the ONAs altogether -__-. I hope it would be a continuation because I just can’t get enough of this.

But lol at Katsuragi… I didn’t know he’s more popular than Razette, Mikhail or Burupya, and Lance which didn’t enter the top 12. Yeah… WHERE’S MY FREAKING RAZETTE?! Also, Mikhail T___T.

I tell you again, KyoAni is trolling us.

What the eff was that? I jinxed it with what I said last time. Endless Eight will probably last for the whole second season and finally end the arc on the season’s finale. /Just kidding. Some parts of the episode were still funny though, like how Itsuki says that they’re on a time loop again and again; and how Mikuru just keeps saying “Classified Information” (yeah I know, again.) with and Kyon wondering why the hell is that censoring necessary. Probably next episode would be the last one because 15,500 seems to be a good number to end it. Hopefully. Just please f*cking end it. Also, don’t bother visiting the screenshot gallery. I barely took any shots.

Meido Moe Kyun~?

I would really love to ship Nanami’s brother to Eba. Because they both just look good together. And it seems like he is quite fond of Eba as well.

On the other hand, Haruto’s harem had just gotten bigger by the second. Megane girl gets added in.

Seems like she’s gonna invite someone to the Kouyasai as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if that guy turns out to be Haruto, even though I get a pretty tiny feeling about pairing her with the soccer guy (was it Himura? lol I can’t remember so much names xD).

Well this proves she’s a bitch that begs for Haruto’s attention. I’m getting annoyed by her right now. I would really love to see Nanami stabbing Haruto at his back rather than having this new girl shit. I feel bad for Nanami getting slowly pushed away from the spotlight because of this new girl issue shit.

So yeah, it’s really clear now that Haruto indeed likes Eba and he’s wondering if it’s possible if he could have a dance with her on the festival. I hope he gets some guts again just like what he did when he held her hand on the previous chapter ^^. Problem though is that Kanzaki-senpai (Nanami’s borther) seems to have a thing for Eba as well.

This is my first “must watch”-listed anime for the Summer season. I haven’t played the VN to be really honest, and I had only read the first 7 chapters of the manga scanlated and released so far, so I don’t know what’s heading next. What I know is that since this has a “When They Cry” mark, it’ll be definitely awesome ^^.

First of all, if you are looking for summary + impressions, get out of here. I’m sick of that. I’ll just type whatever I wanna ramble on. Just like how I did on my Umi Monogatari post, being categorized by fangirling/rambling or per character, so yeah~ Don’t expect the usual episodics here. Screencaps, as usual, are on the next page being I hate seeing them cluttering the first and actual post page. Here goes~

The OP

“One Winged Bird” by Shikata Akiko

The OP is quite epic. With all those creepy sound-thingy-I-can’t-tell-what just adds the eerie effect. The vocals of Shikata Akiko were really high pitched and thin. The animation accompanied was really awesome, so no complaints there. There are lots of very interesting scenes on the OP. George and Shannon being on a huge aquarium, Shannon on a broken mirror, clocks, etc. Probably my favorite is Maria on some kind of a Halloween land, then shows a clip of her hysterically laughing. That was awesome.

Flick! Flick! Flick!

Episode one of Umineko: only two sounds I only remember hearing. First is this flickering-photography-styled character introduction that’s done to… well, every character. The effect isn’t really that annoying though, unless you have like, tons of cast all introduced at the very first episode and have this gets repeated. Hell, even now I’m hearing those flickering sounds.

The next prominent sound will be discussed later.

Battler

Battler’s the pretty guy that definitely needs a second look because he’s an unforgiving sexual harasser xD.

His seiyuu is Daisuke Ono, who needs no introductions for his fabulousness and GAR-ness ^^.

Uhh… yeah.

Oh wow, he should thank the fact that he’s on a remote island or else police would have easily caught him and get arrested for sexual harrassment. Batttler is a perverted moron that has no mercy on groping girls. Even one of the few Rie Kugimiya roles with actual b00bs isn’t an excuse to his ecchi-ness too.

Apparently, grandma an excuse. EW.

Jessica

Marina Inoue! Haha just by the moment she opened her mouth, that just screamed Kyoko/Alicia and stuff xD. Moving on, Jessica has b00bs, is spunky, and has b00bs. But seriously, I like her. She’s spunky and feisty ^^.

Kanon

Despite from being voiced by Yu Kobayashi (which is a female btw) that guarantees him having a very smexy voice, I really love Kanon as well ^^.

THOSE EYES!!!

Apparently I really love this bitch for her gazes xD. The overly-exaggerated eyes are just win. Plus with matching “DUUUUN!” bgm makes it more awesome. Here are more freak-eyes from Umineko:

Lastly, this one. Oh wait, that’s Battler’s “regular” look already. Really, his eyes are just looks inconsistently freaky. I’m not a fan of male characters having huge eyes.

Throwing a ring…

Second Summer anime I’m watching and this also has ring-throwing scenes, just like Umi Monogatari. I wonder if ring-throwing will be a trend this season?

The ED

“la divina tragedia ~Makyoku~” by Jimang

Not really a fan of that old guy singing, but I love the last part of the ending sequence where Beatice and Battler are sitting on the emptied chairs before. I also love the chess touch ^^. Also, lots of symbolisms as well, and looks like gold butterflies will be quite a primary motif in here.

Uhh… now what?

Overall as expected, it turned out plain fine. Since Studio DEEN had always been like that. Good thing I didn’t really kept my hopes up high in it. So yeah, I can’t wait for the murder scenes to happen (not a spoiler anymore duh~) since that’s the basic reason why I’m checking out Umineko on the first place ^^.

Though there are some stuff that annoyed me, like the inconsistency of the animation. Battler’s eyes sometimes just look too O__O, and Jessica’s breasts gets too unproportional (or is that really normal? XD). And now that we’re talking about the animation, there’s nothing really awesome on it overall.

Voice acting is top-notch, especially for the old people. I love Ami Koshimizu’s performance the most as Rosa because she just pwns it. Eva (Miki Itou) getting *BLEEP*-ed was really hilarious too xD.

It was really something for me to look forward to every week for something fresh to try on this Summer season, besides from all those lesbians, ecchi, slice-of-life lameness and many others. I just hope the next episodes would not be disappointing.

Here’s the official Wondergirls US Debut Single “Nobody”. Is it just me or does the video is like… re-dubbed? O___O. But anyway, the English version is still catchy (even though I still prefer the Korean one) and it’ll probably get stuck on my head for a long long time just like how the Korean version did lol.

Will WG hit mainstream popularity on the US? Same question goes to the same artists like BoA, Utada Hikaru and such, who also had debuted their US songs. More power to them, and I’ll just ignore the haters… Go Wondergirls and prove America’s in for a yellow fevah~.

Another side of the GA-REI world~

The story will primarily revolve on Takiguchi Tsuina and Souzae Mikado, which are the recent new characters that debuted on the eight volume on the main Ga-rei series. This is probably ome background manga about them. They totally caught my attention because of their appearances!!! I love Tsuina’s hot red hair color and OMFG I just love how Mikado looks!!! I love white-haired bishies!!! And he has glasses xD!!! Plus he’s such a cooldere as well~!! The moment I saw the cover I knew I’m picking up this Ga-Rei-lated series ^^(lol get it? rei-lated? xD).

I haven’t caught up on that part on the main Ga-rei manga where they showed up though, and the anime just made everything confusing =.=… But since they’re relatively new characters, I might not get confused with them lol ^^.

Tsuina instantly fell in love at first sight the moment she saw Mikado, their school student council president. Though she’s a tad bit unlucky with love since every guy she falls in love with always end up being in a bad situation, and that just started other guys to be scared of her. What made it worse is that she sees spirits, and is surrounded by them.

Just by their first encounter, we can already tell that their situation isn’t your typical boy-meets-girl, because it is boy-meets-girl-and-spirits surrounding them XD.

Haha, no doubt why Tsuina instantly fell in love with Mikado… HE’S SO DARN COOL! What made him the guy for Tsuina is that he didn’t get a bad effect when she’s near him, unlike the any other guys she had before. Downside though is that she cannot share their first encounter story to everyone because… lol how would people believe about all the spirit chaos happening around them-thing?! xD.

Tsuina seems really determined to get her love so she follows him when she saw Mikado on the news about a mysterious monster attack.

Just before Tsuina gets into danger, somebody rescued him! Guess who? Clue: Another character from the Ga-Rei series returns~~~.

It’s Izuna!!! D’aww I missed his awesomeness from the anime xD.

But anyway, before more trouble ensues because of the spirit being on wrath, Mikado finally comes into their rescue with his awesome shikigami ^^. And gawd, he’s so cool!!!!!!! I love his sky-colored hair!!! SQUEEE!!!

Fufufu~!!! Mikado is already tsun-tsun to Izuna xDD. I wonder what happened to two of them that made Izuna a “traitor” to Mikado.

MIKADO’S SO COOOOOL!!! Haha save the world then get the girl~! XD. But it seems like he’s not after that “get the girl” part because he’s gonna do no matter what just to destroy the spirit, even killing Tsuina T^T. Izuna prevented him to do so though, since he’s known for being the resident playboy on Ga-Rei, he loves the ladies~ XD.

Tsuina just can’t believe what’s happening because all she wanted was to cross another path again with Mikado.

But she unleashes an awesome power!!! Hooray~ Go Tsuina!

After the action, Mikado took Tsuina to his home to rest, while he, along with Izuna and the other members of the Department of Prevention of Supernatural Disasters lounges around. Izuna teases a little bit to Mikado lol.

Haha~ That’s our playboy Izuna xD!!! Possible love triangle? Nah~ we all know Izuna’s real love is still the FIERCE! Yomi ^^. And since he’s a playboy, he just teases Mikado. Come on, bring the two closer Izuna xDD!!!

It is yet an another interesting addition to the GA-REI World. Segawa Hajime is just awesome for putting up so much cool characters in different series and have them all linked together ^^.

Mikado’s so awesome!!! And I want to read the chapter where he, along with Tsuina, finally makes their appearance on the main GA-REI manga. Mikado just looks so cool ^^. Probably will be my overall fave GA-REI guy if he continues being so awesome. And I’m just sucker for those cooldere guys that get easily embarassed xD. Tsuina looks like she’s gonna be a kick-ass heroine as well. But let’s see if I’ll love her just like Yomi and Kasuga~.

Overall, I totally enjoyed the first chapter. I can’t wait for more!

Rie Kugimiya finally debuts her role as the loli-imouto country ‘Liechtenstein’ on the anime. Need to mention that because her name just gets attention :P.

1: Liechtenstein’s Journal of Swiss Dopiness

The episode starts with someone cutting her hair… Guess who?

It’s none other than who’s overly obsessed about her older brother ^^. Such a waste that she cut her hair though. We have to see her face at least in the anime while her hair is still long -__-.

Her beloved brother, Vash (Switzerland), gets irritated on what happened and why does Li-chan (yeah, I’ll call her that because Liechtesrwalzgenstein is darn long) cut her hair. Li-chan said it’s refreshing, and deep inside his siscon bro, he agreed XD. Also, Li-chan really wants to look like Vash. Vash worries a lot, but with a little bit of Li-chan’s “ONII-SAMA~<3″ imouto powers when she asked about her cuteness, Vash is just helpless XD.

On to some history lessons, Liechtenstein is a country between Autria and Switzerland. Quite small though, with a population of thirty thousand before. Liechtenstein also means “The Shining Stone”. She once belonged to Germany but was free now and she fully relies on Switzerland.

2: The Effect of Tomatoes

Meanwhile, Feliciano (Italy) and Ludwig (Germany) are out. Ludwig wonders why Feli is darn weak, while Feliciano blabbers about the disgusting pizza Arthur (England) made. Ludwig thought that Feliciano had a blood connection to the Roman Empire that’s why he shouldn’t at least be like that.

A moment later, Feliciano points out some lecture stuff going on near them and when they got closer, it was a scientist who’s discussing about a certain substance on tomatoes that can make us go lazy. XDDD Reason discovered. Feliciano just laughed at it and said it was stupid, while Ludwig wrote down some notes. Lol what is Feli? An experimental hamster?! XD.

3: For Some Reason, They Slept Together

Next part is something I’m absolutely glad to see animated XD. Feliciano and Lovino (S. Italy) sleeps with each other again after some long time. Lovino just keeps telling him to shut up because he’s going to sleep now and wondered why didn’t he even got a spare matress instead. Aww~ That’s not the way to treat your long lost brother! D:

Feliciano felt that Lovino’s just cruel, since there’s nothing wrong with sharing the bed, since he already did it with Ludwig (no surprise xD) and Kiku (Japan) (remember when Kiku said to take responsibility for him after the hug? O__o XDDD). And yeah, Italy sleeps with each of them all the time~ Imagine the orgies they’ve been doing… fufufu~!!! *gets shot*.

When Lovino discovered that his brother had been doing threesomes every single night with those “losers”, he gets surprised and attacks his brother xD. Pssh~ like he’s not doing that with Antonio (Spain) all the time as well~ XD *gets shot again*.

Scene gets cut on Ludwig’s office. The phone rings, and he hears Feliciano getting hurt by Lovino. Ludwig then barges in the bedroom of the twins…

…Then he sees the twins only having their hair tangled xD. Why? Is he expecting something else? xD… Btw, is itjust me, or I noticed that they made this whole sleeping with Onii-chan part child-friendly? I hope the DVD release must make this just like the actual strip ^^.

Next episode will have some historical chibis again! This time it’s Vash (Switz) and Roderich (Austria) and they’ll be getting a fated reunion on a market!

NOTE: Keep in mind though that these adorable blinking symbols only detects the movement of the show on the list (in short, de-co-ra-tions). What really matters are their number positions ^^.

Just like last time, the list obviously shows my love for the current shows I’m watching right now. The number of shows will be really inconsistent. Like last month being a total of 21 shows, now it’s down only to twenty. It’s because some had been dropped or finished already. The list also includes finales that aired on the month, as well as specials, ONAs, OVAs and such. Not movies though. Lol.

Out of the list are the ones I had dropped on the previous list, and that’s Mecha Fail Fail 3d Show, Saki, Natsu no Arashi (yeah, I kept Asura Cryin’ over just for the fucking sake of completing it… and that’s a HUGE mistake I’ve made). I’m pretty sure to pick up Natsu no Arashi again though since I heard that it gets a sequel on fall.

Out of the list as well are the ones I’m currently putting on-hold for this month. And that’s Gintama, Shangri-la, Sora Kake Girl, Shugo Chara and Polyphonica. I’m having quite a problem on Tears to Tiara and FMA: Brotherhood though, because they can now be seen on our television, so I think I’ll remove them now as well. Btw, I’m just going to marathon Hatsukoi Limited whenever I had time, so yeah, it’s quite lucky because it got the spot of “Show to Marathon” for me XDD. Chi’s Sweet Home is an exception to the list as well because I have… nothing to say about it besides it’s… CUTE ^^.

Keep in mind that this list is highly personal, they’re judged by how I enjoyed it, and it’s highly biased so deal with it. It’s MY watch-list after all~

Again, we’re going in very vintage on OTP of the week because I really want to share some old OTPs I had that who knows if you loved them as well back then ^^. Isn’t it so good to bring back some good ol’ memories?

“Takari” is just a one TRUE pairing that could never be separated by time. They are amongst one of my early OTPs that made me wake up so early on Saturdays just to watch my favorite morning cartoon, Digimon, and just flail at every Takari moment I just see. I JUST LOVE THEM!!!

Just from the first season, they’re the loli-est/shouta-est in the bunch that shows really cute moments and they already cared for each other ^^, and on the second season… They grew up fast XD!!! Takeru shows that he cares for Hikari so much, and vice versa. These two are just unbreakable XD.

Even their symbols are just fitting with each other, and their the two of the strongest as well! Hope and Light are just befitting each other. See? These two are just perfect for each other.

And oh, “Takari” just proves that they’re a really solid OTP as well because they just have matching Digimon! Not only matching, but the strongest too! Isn’t that so awesomely obvious? It’s so easy to LOVE these pairing!!

Evolving from Patamon and Gatomon respectively, are the two angels of Hope and Light, Angemon and Angewomon (obvious names are obvious). But yeah, they’re SO my OTP as well just like their owners XD.

Even their egg-evolution thingy (forgot how’s that called XD) are matching too! Nefertimon and Pegasusmon. Btw, just correct me if some names of the Digimons are incorrect because this show is freaking years way back ago that I can’t really remember clearly xD!!!

Yeah, I know I can’t remember having an Ophanimon too because I only remember Magnadramon… but in the official listing, they said that Gatomon’s Mega stage is her, and duh~ She totally matches with Patamon’s Seraphymon <3.

But I totally RAGE when the English dub version did a very horrible, drastic, SHOCKING change from the Japanese version. I mean, WTF?! Why did they just sticked with the original Japanese story and mention that TK married Hikari in the end? But they didn’t.

I heard that the Japanese (original) stated that both of them got married . Even their kids look like each other and they brought each one on the reunion! And come on, it’s too obvious that they already spelled out LOVE throughout the entire two freaking seasons of Digimon so WHY THE HELL DID THEY HAVE TO CHANGE IT?! I just had a burning grudge on the English version of Digimon 02. T___T. Fuck you whoever changed the translation on the English dub ending. FUCK YOU! /end of rant. All hail Japanese version XD.

Fairy Tail (no, it’s not a fantasy shoujo) gets an anime adaptation. That and lots more on today’s digest.

- Fairy Tail gets an anime adaptation this Fall 2009. I think the idea about it is quite alright even though I got tired of the manga and keeping it on-hold for the meantime (I think I’m still on like, 90+ or something). But no wonder I’m definitely checking this one out for my shounen dosage. I wonder on its episode count though, will it be like another Naruto/Bleach/Reborn!/Gintama or make it more off like Soul Eater and have its own ending because it’s still a running series? Production will be by A-1 (Kannagi) and Satelight (Macross Frontier). AWESOME.

- To Aru Kagaku no Railgun more seiyuu update: Itou Kanae will voice Saten Ruiko, while Toyosaki Aki will voice Uihara Kazari.

- Sora no Otoshimono’s official website is now open. Series will air on Fall 2009.

Wut?! There are no auditions for Manga’s Next Top Model yet(coming soon? xD)!!

You should know about this manga right know because it’s rapidly becoming popular because it’s really hilarious. Even some are giving off similarities about it already to Suzumiya Haruhi as well. So yeah, I’ll be picking up this manga for blogging starting now ^^.

Since I haven’t blogged this one from the start, I’ll give a short shot about this manga. This is about Medaka Kurokami, who is elected as the student council president even though she’s just a first year. Her primary project is putting up a suggestion/request box, for those who have requests to make their school better. Alongside Medaka is her close childhood friend, Zenkichi Hitoyoshi. So yeah, I’m currently at the eight chapter now, and a lot of amusing requests had been fullfilled (just check it out, for those who still haven’t ^^).

This time, Medaka is asked to model for an artist. Since Medaka is very confident about exposing her body anyway (duh, just look at her school uniform), she wholeheartedly accepts the request with beaming confidence. Even striking a pose like a muscle man XD.

It seems like she failed though, and what the artist is looking for isn’t on her. But bwahahahaha at Medaka looking so ashamed XD!!! Hahahaha!!! Btw, Zenkichi is probably the one who knows almost everything on Medaka and her actions, since they’re like, with each other for 10 years? Yeah~. And you can call me shipping them XDDDDD.

LOOOOL XD!!! Poor ladies XD. The victims are indeed piling up and it seems like they’re hopeless to find the proper model. But…

And in the end, the artist was just a pedophile that drew her in futuristic space-like outfit XD. What’s the use of putting her on a swimsuit? Wth?! XDDD.

So yeah, it was another hilarious and yet another “WTF” chapter from Medaka Box and the manga sure is getting more and more interesting. I would love it more to show some developments between Medaka and Zenkichi because they’re SO fitting with each other, and it’s really awesome on how even though how “Godly” Medaka is, Zenkichi’s the one who truly knows her (and eevn calls her only Medaka-chan XDD).

It’s overall amusing again, and I’m totally looking forward on this manga every week ^^.

Meet Plug (Seiyuu: Kaori Fukuhara/Tsukasa of Lucky Star). She pisses herself, she takes away the depression of people by means of “plugging” luck power to them, she can fly, transform to a hot tight suit, she’s clumsy and stupid, and she pisses at herself… a LOT. And oh, did I mention that she pisses at herself? This girl needs some toilet training.

Then we get to meet the male lead, Sento (Seiyuu: Hiroki Takahashi), who seem to give off a really awesome first impression already. When he saw the girl (Plug) randomly coming out of the wall, he got his baseball bat, and beat the crap out of her. Talk about violence on stupid mahou shoujo girls! Woohoo!

Meet Louise (in twintails) Iono and Shana Hakune, the main guy’s imouto.

Screw Shana, she’s Kotonoha. O_o

But wow, it seems like we would get to see the adventures of the character on the TV show Plug is watching. I think this is the most fan-service-y part throughout the entire episode. You’ll get to see the girl get tentacle raep’d and then piss the hell out of herself. Then get tentacle raep’d again. But wow, this show seems to love pissies.

I just think that the awesome of this show ends only with Sento. I take pleasure seeing mahou shoujo girls getting beat up, and this guy doesn’t hesitate on doing so.

Another beat-up scene above, which includes Plug having a golden shower upon herself, with dramatic waterfall background effect to match her pissing mood. If we could count on how much urine got seen in this episode, it would have been more than a liter.

Her costume is hot though. Yum.. Latex. And about her mahou-shoujo transformation, we still have to see clearly of that.

The conflict in the episode is quite poorly written as well. The imouto gets into the brink of depression because of the loss of their parents and thinks about jumping atop off a building. Plug and Sento then searches for her, Sento sees her, she falls, the infamous “holding on before falling” cliche happens, but Plug comes into their rescue and “Plugs” back the imouto to her old self once again and then the problem’s solved by her gymnastics skills. I’m quite surprised though that the imouto didn’t pissed herself while holding on the building though.

The episode ends with all their happy lives going back again, except for Plug, who peeps in to a naked Sento. And guess what happened? Idiot got beat up badly again.

ED (Real OP): “CHARGE!” by Kaori Fukuhara & Ayahi Takagaki

Boobs, boobs, boobs, butts, boobs… at least no urine in this one. Not a fan of the song much, but there are some parts in th ED that cracked me up:

It seems like the TV Show Plug was watching a while ago at Sento’s house will get some screentime soon as well.

Sigh, this is better than having nothing to blog at all.

So yeah, it’s your typical shitty fanservice animu that’s less boobier than Queen’s Boobs Blade so far, but the ecchi is still there. Damn, I don’t know why some people find the urine fetish hot . But anyways, I think I had been expecting more ecchi to happen. What happen was still quite moderate though to be really honest. Probably the most extreme you can find in this one is already in the TV Show scene.

It seems like another Dokuro-chan, without the gory-gore (as of now?) and it only takes a tiny pinch of brain to watch it, so nothing wrong with that. So yeah, it’s quite funny at times, and there’s amusing chemistry between Plug and Sento, no matter how he beats her up with a baseball bat, a guitar, and trays. It honestly had me cheering on some violence because I just personally can’t stand mahou shoujo girls. And oh, my only rant about the male lead is that he’s cursed with a horribly-designed nose.

But lol, I’m not sure if I’ll continue blogging on this series, because there’s so much more this Summer is offering, and not only that, but Fall as well. So I might give it a go on the second episode on just watching it. Brainless fun is brainless… but still fun.
