I don’t think the Chinese one is considered an official remake.

Actually, I’m in the middle of a pound-by-pound breakdown comparison of the whole MG VS HYD VS BOF craze! It’s such hard work lol

I don’t disagree w/ most of your favourites but you used the term Ewwie @ Matsuda Shota!! No way from my perspective! I think he acted the part of Jiro best. Plus, I thin he is better looking than Kim Bum *dodges tomato missiles from Kim Bum’s lovers*

The Chinese version is really different…like I actually had to come here to look at profiles because I couldn’t tell who was who. It’s not bad though.

I’ve watch taiwanese and korean version also but i still feel the japanese version with domyoji makino is the best. great casts, interesting and flowing plot, GREATLY DONE! emotions were brought out so naturally!!

i loved everything jun as domyoji!! he’s some kind of a person that can do something naturally Great development of characters..He played Domyouji’s loneliness so well – his eyes alone potrayed so much emotions. he is especially amazing as Tsukasa fantastic as domyoji.

Inoue Mao too perfect as Tsukushi, she’s played such a great spunky Tsukushi Makino with a cuteness I didn’t see in Meteor Garden or BBF have talent for acting.

so What more can I say?! :))) i love jun as domyoji He’s silly, stupid, hot-tempered, rough, possessive, loving, gentle, challenging, protective, and would do anything for the ones he loves. And Matsumoto Jun portrays them all very well!! very good in acting as domyouji!Matsujun and mao is what makes this dorama great…Makino and Domyoji make such a cute couple so much better than the other version.
Makino and Domyoji best couple great job!!! amazing! Hanadan 1 2 and specialy final movie is one of my most favorite dramas full of talent, comedy, and love!!!

hana yori dango Japanese version is the best!
i always want to watch it.
i always cry when there are bad moments
and always smile if tsukasa & tsukushi are together.

oh my gosh… i really love hanayoridango even if some of the characters were not that hot BUT they still fit on their character specially their acting and the plot of the story is really interesting unlike the other version its so boring to watch…….ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…. luv it really……

I got to say that for Sojirou Nishikado it should have been the Japanese one.And NOT the korean one.I mean the japanese is way better. I mean come on it’s Shota Matsuda. The Best actor :thumb:.All of the versions are good I guess in some way. But I chose the Japanese one.

I know some of the actors and actresses but never watched Hana Yori Dango… any of its adaptations.

Oh, since there is talking about a Filipino version over here, I think there’s a parody series but that’s it; I think it’s called Boys Over Acting. I don’t any pretty boy comparison is necessary… haha…

I preferred Inoue Mao for Makino :D:D I find her incredibly pretty.

But on the overall note, I would say the Korean version. :)

well as for us here in CEBU
we vote for KOREAN version…they are all good looking guys,,,and jan di is a very cute girl..so theres justice …what happend to chinese version?hahahaha peace

i love TAIWANESE , JAPANESE & KOREAN versions equally!!! they are equally great for me.. with their differences, having their own characteristics…

TAIWANESE – gave me the greatest impact.. loved San Cai and Dao Ming Si love story.. he was the scariest but still lovable among them..!!

JAPANESE – best story and has the most exciting events like the Teen of Japan…!!

KOREAN – the characters are simply the most lovable… great cast…!!

i really love these three…!!! :party:

no offense to the Chinese version but the characters really don’t fit the role..

Japan version was the best.They had the best characters and the story was emotional and also funny.
Inoue mao was a great Makino, way better than the other 2 actresses. Spunky and lovable, honest and strong when she needed to.
I prefer Tsukasa too, because he was more versatile than Junpyo or Jerry. He also looked like there´s was no one else for him than Makino and fought for her love.
Korean version isn´t bad but I still prefer HYD.

To me, the Korean version was the best because of the best good-looking F4 and the cute Jandi, plus it was entertaining. I think Lee Min Ho and Goo Hye Sun look fantastic with each other! They have a chemistry, whether on-set or off-set, which made the show work.
